Last updated 7 August 2026. Every price, discount and rating below was read off the live US PlayStation Store product pages the same day.
The PlayStation Summer Sale 2026 is live on the US PlayStation Store with more than 4,100 items discounted across PS5 and PS4, and every offer we checked carries the same deadline: 2:59 a.m. ET on 13 August (7:59 a.m. UK), which on the west coast is 11:59 p.m. PT on 12 August. That is a lot to wade through, so we have pulled the games that are both genuinely great and genuinely worth the discount, ranked by value.
All prices are US Store, in US dollars, and each was taken from the product page rather than an aggregator. Discounts vary by region, and Sony runs a mid-sale refresh that swaps titles in and out, so check the page before you commit.
The best PlayStation Summer Sale 2026 deals at a glance
The rating column is the PlayStation Store player score out of five, with the number of ratings behind it. We use it because you can verify any of these yourself in seconds, which is not true of a critic aggregate.
Why these ten, in order
1. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, $19.99. The best value in the sale. Sixty hours reimagining the most beloved stretch of the original, barely a year old, at a third of launch price. If you played Remake and stopped, this is where the project becomes extraordinary.
2. Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition, $19.99. Read the edition carefully. This is the $99.99 Ultimate bundle, and the base game is not discounted in this sale, so the bundle is the cheaper route in. Still arguably Rockstar’s finest open world.
3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Complete Edition, $9.99. Both expansions included, and Blood and Wine alone outclasses most full-price releases. With The Witcher 4 on the horizon, there is no cheaper way in.
4. Baldur’s Gate 3, $48.99. The 2023 Game of the Year, and a game that almost never takes a meaningful cut. The smallest percentage on this list, which is exactly why it is worth flagging.
5. Alan Wake 2, $17.99. Remedy’s survival horror, one of the most formally inventive games of its generation. Under twenty dollars, the only reason left to skip it is nerve.
6. Persona 5 Royal, $17.99. A 4.88 player rating, among the highest in the sale. A hundred hours of stylish, supremely confident JRPG, in its definitive version.
7. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, $29.39. Insomniac’s best traversal yet, and a genuine showcase for what the PS5 does with scale and load times.
8. Final Fantasy XVI Complete Edition, $27.99. Both expansions bundled. The action combat divided the faithful, which is why the Complete Edition at this price is the sensible way to find out where you land.
9. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition, $35.99. A 2025 release already at 60% off, which is unusual this early. Dense, difficult, historically stubborn, and adored by the players it suits.
10. The Last of Us Part I, $29.39. A 4.89 player rating, the highest of anything we checked in this sale. If you have somehow never played it, the rebuild is the version to own.

Best for co-op night
Divinity: Original Sin 2, Definitive Edition, $14.99 (75% off) is the pick if you want the game Baldur’s Gate 3 grew out of, and it is built for two from the first hour. Borderlands Legendary Collection, $9.99 (80% off) is three campaigns of split-screen looting for the price of one takeaway, and Chivalry 2, $7.99 (80% off) is the cheapest way to lose an evening to medieval nonsense with friends.
The GTA corner
With GTA VI due on 19 November, the back catalogue is cut too. Grand Theft Auto V (PS4 and PS5) is $19.99 (50% off) and Grand Theft Auto Online (PS5) is $9.99 (50% off) standalone, which is the cheaper entry if all you want is the multiplayer before the sequel lands. If you are grinding funds first, our GTA Online money guides will get your balance up faster, and you can track every confirmed and unconfirmed claim in our GTA VI hub. How long you have, and how to buy
Every product page we checked shows the same end point, 2:59 a.m. ET on 13 August (7:59 a.m. UK), so in practice the west coast has until 11:59 p.m. PT on 12 August. Given the size of the lineup, expect a mid-sale refresh that swaps some titles in and out. If something here is on your shortlist, buy it now rather than betting it survives the rotation. You can browse the full lineup on the official PlayStation Store Summer Sale page.
One honest note on the live-service and sports entries near the top of the store. NBA 2K26 SLAM Edition at 80% off ($15.99) is among the steepest cuts in the sale, but as an annual title built around in-game spending, the great deal framing is shakier than the percentage suggests. Buy it for the basketball, not for the number next to it.
