We label every claim on this site by the evidence behind it. Sometimes we get a label wrong, and sometimes new evidence moves a claim from one state to another. Both belong on the public record, but they are not the same thing, so we log them separately. We log distinct errors, not per-article instances, one mistake fixed in three articles is one correction, with three links.
A correction means we made an error: a wrong fact, a wrong figure, a mislabelled claim, a misattributed source. When that happens, we fix the article, note the fix in the article itself, and log it here. We do not quietly edit.
A ledger update means the system worked: a claim moved between evidence states, Confirmed, Likely, Possible, Unverified, Debunked, because new information arrived. Rumours firming up before a launch is not an error; it is the reason the ledger exists. Updates are logged so you can see each claim’s history.
Every entry below says what changed, why, and what didn’t change. Where an entry scopes an error narrowly, that is deliberate: a wrong label is not the same as a wrong number, and we will always tell you which one it was.

Corrections
Said James Horton described Ambrosia in LOVE’s Instagram caption; the description is LOVE’s own. Horton’s quoted lines on “background” and “foreground” stand. We also dated the caption 3 October; it was posted on 2 October.
Misattributed description · Corrected in: the 6 October GTA 6 roundupSaid in Rumour Ledger Ed. 8 that no published account of Cyberleek’s cash-out showed a wallet address or a method. PC Gamer’s report of August 27, a week before Ed. 8, linked the Solana transactions. We have read them, and the claim moved from Possible to Likely in Ed. 13. Ed. 8 is left as published.
Wrong statement of the evidence · Corrected in: Rumour Ledger Ed. 13Printed SUBPOENA SCOPE as Unverified in Rumour Ledger Ed. 12; its state is Confirmed. The SDNY petitions against Microsoft and Discord, filed August 20, and the subpoenas to X and Google that followed are on the record. Only compliance is unknown. Ed. 12 is left as published.
Wrong label · Corrected in: Rumour Ledger Ed. 13Listed FOOTAGE AGE among the Unverified claims in Rumour Ledger Ed. 12; its state is Likely. The claim has been Likely since Ed. 6 and nothing moved it. Ed. 12 is left as published.
Wrong label · Corrected in: Rumour Ledger Ed. 13Said five activities from Game Informer’s GTA 6 cover story were newly confirmed; two were not. Billiards and mini golf were already on the record: Rockstar’s Rob Nelson mentioned pool and mini golf to IGN in August. The heading and list now name the three that are new, base jumping, zoos and airboats.
Overstated novelty · Corrected in: the Game Informer cover story articleRelabelled the Title Update 1.73 payout figures from Unverified to Likely across the GTA Online money cluster. The Rumour Ledger carried these figures as Unverified while the guides described them as well-evidenced, two states for one claim, published in the same week. Under our criteria, figures compiled by GTA Series Videos, a source with a verified track record on this beat, meet Likely. One error, fixed everywhere it appeared. No numeric values changed.
Label inconsistency between ledger and guides · Corrected in: the hub, the five money guides and Rumour Ledger Ed. 1Corrected the Kortz Center primary target value in the Returning Player guide. The guide stated the La Dernière Débauche painting is worth $1,925,000 as a base value. $1,925,000 is the first-run figure under the ×4 weekly bonus; the base value is $481,250. The other two pages carried it correctly. The solo payout range on two pages now also states what it is made of: the boosted primary plus carryable exhibits.
Corrected in: the Returning Player guide · decomposition added to the Solo guideRelabelled the ~$180M week-one pre-order figure from Confirmed to Likely. Under our published labelling criteria, Confirmed is reserved for first-party statements; Newzoo’s Game Performance Monitor is analyst measurement, not a figure from Rockstar or Take-Two. One error, fixed everywhere it appeared. No numeric values changed, the figure itself stands as reported.

Misread currency conversion · Struck in: Rumour Ledger Ed. 3Kortz Center as a GTA 6 heist location, struck, Confirmed → Debunked. Our homepage ledger recorded this as Confirmed citing a 22 July Newswire item. No such item exists; the real Kortz Center coverage (9 and 14 July) is GTA Online content. The error was in how we wrote the entry, not in any source. Struck and kept.
