Pearl Abyss’s patch notes name each shop as it is added or changed. This guide collects them in one place, by what you are buying. Where the notes do not say which town a shop is in, we say so; the map will place them once it is built.
Greymane NPCs sell at a 10% discount
Since patch 1.04.00, goods sold by Greymane NPCs are 10% cheaper. Buy from your own camp where you can.
At the camp: Ronnie sells food, Carl runs the Contribution Shop
- Ronnie, the Base Camp Cook, sells provisions that restore Health: 27 Copper to 2.75 Silver on patch 2.03.02, restocking on a timer. Pearl Abyss’s 1.00.03 note cut camp restoratives to 1 Silver and names Carl; that no longer matches the game.
- Greymane Contribution Shop: Carl sells Greymane armour, cloaks, gloves and the Greymane Signet for Greymane contribution points, with stock on a restock timer. Run by Carl at the Greymane Camp since 1.04.00, with more items added in 1.08.00. Contribution points cap at 100 (1.16.00 fix).
- Item recovery: if the Sotdae of Bond disappears after you place it, Carl’s item recovery function returns it (1.04.00).
- Donations: 1 Copper gives 10 Camp Funds and 1 Silver gives 1,000 on patch 2.03.02; the lowest Silver donation offered is 1.01 Silver.
The camp is one camp that moves: Howling Hill first, Pailune later in the story. Carl is named at both.

Witches’ shop: certain items reset daily
Some Witches’ shop stock resets every day (1.00.03). Check it on each visit.
Hernand: tavern food, the Bows manual, the Flower Basket and the Tailor’s loom
- Hernand Tavern: new food added in 1.00.03, and food heals more since that patch.
- Hernand Equipment Shop: sells “Ranged Weapons of the World – Bows, Vol. I” (1.11.00).
- Hernand Provisioner’s Shop: sells the Flower Basket (1.11.00).
- Hernand Tailor’s Shop: has a loom (1.12.00). Its map icon was fixed to match its real position in 1.16.00.

Pororin: the secret shop for pet gear
The secret shop in Pororin sells pet equipment (1.04.00), including the Sigil of Valor, which makes pet dogs attack enemies (1.06.00). The Hunter’s Sigil, added in 1.13.00, lets a bird pet retrieve prey and gatherables suited to its specialty; the notes do not say where it is sold.
Patrigio is a wandering night merchant
Patrigio’s Secret Shop is named in the 1.05.00 notes without a location. In our play he appears at night and moves about; we have never met him in a fixed spot, so he gets no pin on the map.
Pet Shop
The “Pets – Tailor’s Shop” was renamed the Pet Shop in 1.12.00, and it buys the Kuku Cooler and Enhanced Kuku Cooler.
Eight saddleries, one per region, each with its own animals
Saddles for special mounts are sold at saddleries “in various cities” (1.06.00):
| Saddlery | Saddles for |
|---|---|
| Hernand | Wolves, bears |
| Equinsher | Deer, wolves |
| Calphade | Bears, Kuku Birds |
| Demeniss | Kuku Birds, deer |
| Pailune | Bears, ibexes |
| Delesyia | Warthogs |
| Tommaso | Iguanas |
| Varnia | Camels |
Saddles no longer show as part of a special mount’s default look; you equip them in the Special Mounts tab of the inventory.
Livestock vendors and wholesale grocers on the farms
Livestock vendors across Pywel sell cows, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens (1.04.00). Wholesale grocer NPCs were added to regional farms in 1.01.00. Elephants can be sold at the Livestock Fence (1.16.00 fix).
Furniture shops sell the 1,000-slot Sturdy Gatherables Chest
The Sturdy Gatherables Chest holds 1,000 slots, is bought from furniture shops and placed through housing. Materials in it count for crafting and refinement even when they are not in your inventory (1.04.00). Furniture shops also sell the Wardrobe, 100 outfit slots each, up to 1,000 in total (1.04.00).
The Bond Shop takes bonds for rare items
Added in 1.16.00 alongside the bank rework. Bonds exchange for 10 Gold Bars each, and depositing 10 or more in the Claim Bank Strongbox starts an investment. See the trading guide.
Smithies refine and extract; workstations and looms craft
- Smithies in various regions offer “Extraction”, which recovers materials used to refine equipment. Iron ore, copper ore and bloodstones come back at approximately 70% of the amount used (1.06.00).
- Workstations are found in multiple places, such as the Greymane Camp and Timberham Sawmill (1.12.00).
- Looms are found in multiple places, such as the Hernand Tailor’s Shop (1.12.00).
- Grindstones and anvils reinforce equipment; the Attack and Defence they add were reduced in 1.04.00.

Minigames with prizes
The claw machine at the Laughing Marionette (1.06.00) and the Pinball machine at the inn near the Delesyian Institute (1.10.00).
Named vendors in Pailune
Gunter (equipment), Harry (blacksmith), Bronton (stablekeep) and Lola (seamstress) are named in the 1.03.00 notes. Pailune is reached later in the story.
