Is GTA 6 coming to PC? Not announced, and here is what is actually on the record

This is the most-asked question about the game and the honest answer is short. Everything below it is the evidence, scored the way our Rumour Ledger scores it.

Short answer: No PC version has been announced. Rockstar’s pre-order flow offers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has named PC. A report that the PC version could come sooner than expected is scored Possible; a specific date circulating from an insider is Unverified.

What is on the record

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is the whole of the first-party platform list. Rockstar’s pre-order flow, its Newswire posts and its support pages name those two platforms and nothing else. Take-Two’s filings and earnings calls have not named PC either. Absence of an announcement is not a denial; it is an absence, and we write it as one.

What has been reported

On the VGC podcast in the week of 6 September 2026, VGC’s Andy Robinson said: “I think they’ll bring forward the PC version; there are some rumors about that. Maybe the PC version will come sooner than some people expect because of the current situation.” That is a named journalist with a track record hedging his own sentence twice, so the ledger scores it Possible, not Likely. Separately, a February 2027 date attributed to the insider DetectiveSeeds circulates; it has no first-party or strong secondary backing and sits at Unverified inside the same entry. Both are tracked in Rumour Ledger Ed. 9.

What history says, and what it does not

Grand Theft Auto V reached consoles in September 2013 and PC in April 2015, a gap of about nineteen months. That is a fact about the last game, not a forecast for this one; Rockstar has said nothing that lets anyone apply it. We include it because the question is usually asked with that gap in mind.

What would move the score

To Confirmed: a Rockstar or Take-Two statement naming PC, a rating-board listing for a PC version, or a store page. To Debunked: a first-party statement ruling PC out, which no one expects and which has not happened. Until one of those lands, the answer stays: not announced.

If you play on PC

There is nothing to pre-order. The two editions, at $79.99 and $99.99, are console listings; details on the editions page. We update this page the day the platform list changes.

How we know: Platform list from Rockstar’s live pre-order flow, verified 2 August 2026 and unchanged since. Robinson quote from the VGC podcast, week of 6 September 2026, via LevelUp, scored in Rumour Ledger Ed. 9. GTA V dates from Rockstar’s release history. No first-party statement on PC exists as at the date above.
