From August 6 to 12, one run of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale is guaranteed to find the Panther Statue in El Rubio’s vault, finishing that Finale earns the Panther Tour Jacket, and logging in at any point during the week pays a GTA$1,000,000 End of Summer bonus within 72 hours. None of that is datamine. Rockstar spelled out the whole second week in its Summer Heist Event post, so the core of this week is first-party fact. The rest of the rotation went live as listed at Thursday’s reset, and what came from where is marked below.
What Rockstar has confirmed for August 6-12
- Panther Statue: 100% chance of finding it on your first playthrough of The Cayo Perico Heist Finale; complete the Finale during the week to receive the Panther Tour Jacket.
- End of Summer Giveaway: play GTA Online any time this week for GTA$1,000,000, delivered within 72 hours.
- Login gifts: the Sunset Glow Necklace and the Blue and Pink Glow Shades.
- 2X GTA$ and RP on Assault on Cayo Perico, back for the week, and on A Superyacht Life missions.
- 3X GTA$ and RP on the Community Mission Series: this week that means Escape The City by Zibulaatio (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced).
- Weekly Challenge: survive three waves of the returning Cayo Perico Survival for the Noise Rockstar Logo Aged Tee and GTA$100,000.
- Discounts: Paleto Bay business properties and both Kurumas at 60% off, high-end apartments and Benny’s upgrades at 40%, and a 30% tier that includes the Pegassi Reaper, Progen Itali GTB, HVY Vetir and Pfister Comet Safari.
- Gun Van: Service Carbine in stock, the Heavy Rifle at 50% off, and the Combat Shotgun at 30% off for GTA+ members.
Every line above comes from Rockstar’s own event post, which covered both weeks of the Summer Heist Event when it went up on July 30.
How the Panther Statue run works this week
Normally the statue is a rare roll on the vault’s primary target. This week the roll is rigged in your favour: your first playthrough of the Finale between August 6 and 12 will find it, guaranteed. That makes this the week to set up one clean Cayo run even if the island stopped being your grinder months ago. The jacket unlocks on completing the Finale inside the window, so the same run covers both.
The Cayo question, answered honestly
Title Update 1.73 cut Cayo Perico’s payouts and excluded it from the weekly first-completion bonuses entirely; rotating the other heists for their weekly multipliers has been the best money in GTA Online since. This week bends that picture without breaking it. The statue is a guaranteed one-off prize, and there is one more line Rockstar’s July 30 post never carried: 2X GTA$ on first-time completion of the Cayo Finale. The Thursday reset settled it, and the multiplier is live in-game. So one Cayo run this week gets you the guaranteed statue, the jacket, and doubled first-completion money, on an island the standing weekly system otherwise still excludes.
The rest of the rotation, confirmed at the reset
The pre-reset rundowns carried a set of details Rockstar’s post does not, and the reset confirmed them live: this week’s Kortz Center primary targets (Brother Brother, The Girl With the Pearl Necklace, and In Excess of Success), the Declasse Drift Tampa on the Lucky Wheel podium, the Coil Raiden as the LS Car Meet prize ride for winning the Car Meet Series four days running, the salvage yard trio (a claimable top-tier Lampadati Tigon, an Obey 10F, and a Classique Broadway), The Project Breakaway File as the FIB Priority File, and the week’s premium race and time trials (Business Trip, Fort Zancudo, and the Ron Alternates to Elysian Island HSW trial).
Worth planning around
The Galaxy Super Yacht is 60% off in the event sale while A Superyacht Life pays double, which is the closest this event gets to a matched bet; check DockTease before you commit. GTA+ members keep the free Grotti Veleno GT through August 12, plus 50% off HSW conversions. And if you cleared Fleeca and Pacific Standard during week one of the Summer Heist Event, this is the second half of the same event, with the weekly first-completion bonuses resetting across the rest of the heist board on Thursday.
Thursday is unusually crowded, too: it is also the single-sourced, unverified date for GTA VI Trailer 3, which we track on the GTA VI hub.
