GTA Online Money — Payouts, Methods and Guides

EVIDENCE STATE — LIKELY

The Title Update 1.73 payout reductions on this page are Likely, not Confirmed. They were compiled by GTA Series Videos from community data-mining, after being surfaced by PLTytus on GTA Forums. Rockstar published the weekly bonus system but never published the cuts. Under our labelling criteria that makes these figures Likely — a source with a verified track record on this beat — not Confirmed.

Moves to Confirmed on: Rockstar patch notes or a Newswire statement.

Last updated 18 July 2026 · Current patch: Title Update 1.73 · Weekly reset: Thursday

Rockstar cut the base payout on most GTA Online heists in Title Update 1.73, by somewhere between 10% and 40%, then added a weekly first-completion bonus on top. If you rotate between heists, several now pay more than they did before. If you grind one on loop, you have taken a pay cut.

This hub is where we keep the current numbers. Every page below carries a last-updated date and gets revised when the game patches, because stale figures are worse than no figures.

What changed in Title Update 1.73

  • Base payouts cut across 20+ heists and contact missions
  • A weekly first-completion bonus added, from x1.22 to x4, resetting every Thursday
  • The Kortz Center Heist carries the x4 multiplier, the largest in the game
  • Cayo Perico was devalued and is excluded from the bonus entirely
  • Setup mission rewards increased, with Fleeca setups at 3x
  • Business income was left untouched

How we source these numbers

Rockstar publishes what changed, not what it pays. Confirmed mechanics come from official patch notes. Payout figures come from community data-mining, and we label them as such rather than presenting them as official. Where sources disagree, we say so instead of picking the number that reads best.
