GTA 6’s Standard Edition is a 210 GB download on PS5, according to the X account PlayStation Game Size, which posted the figure on 27 October alongside the $79.99 price, the 12 November pre-load and the 19 November release. Rockstar has not published a file size, and the US PlayStation Store listing showed none when we read it on 26 October. The post gives the figure without a method, so it is an unconfirmed report from an account GamesRadar describes as reasonably reliable.

One post, repeated everywhere

GameSpot, GamesRadar and others carried the 210 GB figure on 27 October, all from the same post, so it is one source. The post covers one thing, the Standard Edition on PS5. The Ultimate Edition, Xbox Series X|S and the space the game takes once installed are all outside it. The account calls it its “first and last post about GTA 6 before release”. MP1st says separately that it had heard about 204 GB, without naming a source.

About double Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS5

GamesRadar puts GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 at around 100 to 110 GB on base PS5, so 210 GB would be roughly double either. Rockstar Support says pre-load begins at local midnight on 12 November, a week before launch, and that the physical edition holds a code for the digital download rather than the game on a disc, so the download applies to every copy.

The post also gives a release time of midnight. That matches the US and UK PlayStation Store listings, which show 19 November at midnight Eastern and midnight GMT; Rockstar has not published launch times, as our pre-load and launch timing page sets out.

What would confirm it

A size from Rockstar Support or the Newswire, or the PlayStation Store showing one, most likely when pre-load opens. Our file size page carries the 210 GB report and will switch to Rockstar’s figure when there is one.
