Rockstar published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026, 35 days before the game’s November 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer debuts “Flower in a Hurricane”, a new single from Justice, who Rockstar names as composers of the game’s original score, with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar also says a separate score album is coming, and its artwork page gained new Jason and Lucia key art the same day.

What Rockstar’s page and Newswire post say

The trailer sits on Rockstar’s site under the title Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, dated October 15, 2026, beneath the three earlier videos: An Extended Look (August 27, 2026), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025) and Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023). The page carries a “Plays Best On” line with the PlayStation 5 mark. It says nothing about performance modes or frame rate.

The Newswire post of the same day gives the setup in Rockstar’s words. Jason and Lucia “have always known the deck is stacked against them”, and when “an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida”. The post describes Justice as “composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI” and calls “Flower in a Hurricane” a standalone single that is also on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the soundtrack Rockstar announced on September 17 for a November 19 release on streaming services, vinyl and CD.

The post closes with: “Stay tuned for more information on the music of Grand Theft Auto VI, including the official score album.” Rockstar’s X account repeated it that afternoon: “Stay tuned for more information on Justice’s official score album.”

What the trailer shows

The trailer runs 90 seconds, timed in house. It is story material cut to “Flower in a Hurricane”: Jason talks about his time in the army, Lucia calls him from prison, and the relationship between the two carries the edit, with no new gameplay systems shown. It ends on the November 19 date card.

New key art on the artwork page

Rockstar’s artwork and wallpapers page now lists 25 items. At the top is “Jason and Lucia Lock and Load”, offered in six sizes without logos and three with: Jason standing with a pistol at his side while Lucia sits on the bonnet of a red muscle car loading hers, a duffel bag beside her and bullet holes in the wing. The files on Rockstar’s media server are dated October 15.

Jason and Lucia Robbery key art: Lucia in a red bandana mask and a cropped Baddie T-shirt tucks a pistol into her shorts while Jason pulls a blue bandana over his face, a Xero petrol station and Food Mart behind them, a muscle car with its door open at right and an iguana on the forecourt. A second piece, “Jason and Lucia Robbery”, is also on the page in logo and no-logo versions: the pair masking up with bandanas outside a Xero petrol station, an iguana on the forecourt. It was not in Rockstar’s press kit when we inventoried it on August 2, and Rockstar has not dated it or posted it on the Newswire. The screenshot library is unchanged at 99 images. Both pieces are in our GTA 6 gallery.

Where the music stands

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, announced September 17, carries 34 tracks and releases November 19; Rockstar’s store lists a limited vinyl at $124.98, a standard vinyl at $49.98 and a CD at $19.98. Rockstar added “Suzuki” by Fuerza Regida and “Don’t Chart” by Cardi B as singles on October 9, a day after naming six in-game radio stations, and “Flower in a Hurricane” follows them. The score album is the open item. Everything else on the launch board is unchanged: preload opens November 12, the game arrives November 19, and Take-Two reports its quarter on November 9.
