The GTA 6 DualSense controllers: two limited editions, the black one $84.00 on PlayStation Direct

Sony announced two Grand Theft Auto VI controllers on 10 September 2026. This page carries what Sony said, what its store lists, and one correction.

What Sony said

Sony’s marketing email of 10 September 2026 announces two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers, now available to pre-order, with a shimmering, iridescent finish, textured palm leaf details, and official Grand Theft Auto VI branding, described as a bold tribute to modern day Vice City. The email’s small print says supplies are limited, availability varies by region, and the controllers and the game are sold separately.

What the store lists

The PlayStation Direct product page for the black edition lists it at $84.00, marked as a PS Direct exclusive, releasing 19 November 2026, and compatible with PS5, PC, Mac and mobile. We read the page ourselves on 11 September. The white edition’s page has not been read this week, so its price is not stated here.

The price correction

Several outlets printed $84.99. The store figure is $84.00, and we print the store figure. If Sony changes the listing, this page changes with it; the ledger entry that tracks the controllers is in Ed. 9.

Where it sits on the road to launch

The controllers release on launch day, 19 November. Pre-loads open 12 November; the dates are on the pre-load page. The controllers are not part of either game edition; the editions and their prices are on the editions page.
