NBA 2K27 Editions
Three editions, three covers, and a ladder built to sell the $149.99 one. The game is out; every price and bonus below was read off 2K’s own site on 17 August 2026 and the pre-order items are marked as lapsed.
NBA 2K27 launched on 4 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on Steam, at $69.99 for the Standard Edition. Deluxe and Ultra buyers had nine days of early access from 26 August at 9:00 a.m. PT, extended at the Game Reveal.
The edition ladder did the selling this year. Early access was the hook, and everything above Standard was built around it; with the game out, the extra VC and the MyTEAM and MyCAREER bundles are what the higher editions still buy. What follows is each edition as 2K lists it, plus the deadlines and regional restrictions 2K keeps in the footnotes.

The three editions
US prices, 2K’s own listingThe base game on all four platforms. Pre-ordering added 10,000 VC and nothing else; that bonus applied to orders placed before 4 September, and whether the storefronts still show it after launch is being checked.
Added up to nine days of early access (now lapsed), 100,000 bonus VC on top of the pre-order 10,000, and the MyTEAM and MyCAREER bundles: a Full ’27 Series 1 team selection, the Triple Threat Park Free Agent Pack, five Series 1 packs, skill and Gatorade boosts, 2XP coins, and the Wembanyama and Clark jerseys.
Everything in Deluxe, with the VC raised to 135,000, plus both season passes, the Season 1 Pro Pass and the Summer Pass covering Seasons 7 to 9, two guaranteed MyTEAM cards delivered later, a 98 OVR in December 2026 and an Invincible card in May 2027, and the Roses Oversize Hoodie. Digital only.
The launch-window pre-order offer, 15,000 VC plus a Stephen Curry G.O.A.T. card in NBA 2K26 and a 90 OVR Wembanyama card in 2K27, expired at 10:00 a.m. PT on 17 August 2026. The 10% loyalty discount on Ultra for existing NBA 2K26 players ran through 3 September, same platform only, via the platform store. The Ultra Edition itself is limited availability, on sale only through 6 September, stated in 2K’s own announcement, so that window has now closed. Resolved 18 August: 2K’s FAQ confirms early access begins 26 August at 9:00 a.m. PT and now runs up to nine days, extended at the reveal; the overview page still carries the stale seven-day, 28 August footnote. Every card and pack included with an edition is delivered through the game, needs an internet connection and an NBA 2K Account, and season pass progress resets when each Season ends.

26 August 2026 at 9:00 a.m. PT everywhere at once, and it ran until the 4 September launch. That is 12:00 p.m. in New York, 5:00 p.m. in London, and 1:00 a.m. on 27 August in Tokyo.
It is $80 over Standard for early access, 125,000 extra VC, both season passes and two guaranteed cards that arrive in December and May. If you do not play MyTEAM, most of that value evaporates. We state what is in it; whether it is worth it depends entirely on how much VC you would buy anyway.
