This is Edition 2, covering July 18 to 24, and plenty moved. A trailer window died, a payout rumour firmed up, and one week of physical-media panic resolved into three separate confirmed facts. Use the filters to sort by how solid each claim is.
Take-Two’s SEC filing reaffirms November 19, 2026 for GTA 6, worded as “planned”. No change this week. The statement is confirmed first-party; whether the date holds stays Possible until the DEF 14A, due before September 17, shows if “planned” survives.

The World Cup final was not a GTA 6 Trailer 3 window. Moved to Debunked this week: the July 19 final passed with no trailer. The broader claim that Trailer 3 exists or has a date stays Unverified, with two windows still Possible, around the August 7 earnings call and early September on the Red Dead 2 precedent.

Title Update 1.73 cut base payouts across more than twenty heists and missions. Moved from Unverified to Likely this week after the datamine held up under cross-checking. We logged a public correction when we relabelled it. It moves to Confirmed only on Rockstar patch notes.

The Kortz Center pays a boosted primary of about GTA$1.93 million and a solo first run of GTA$2.0 to 2.25 million. Held at Likely and cross-checked by arithmetic: 1,925,000 plus 5,218,000 in exhibits equals the published four-player maximum of 7,143,000 exactly.

The second-hand game market was worth about $7.2 billion in 2025. Likely: it is an analyst estimate (Dataintelo, via CNBC). Treat the same firm’s $13.8 billion projection for 2034 with more care still, since it was made before Sony put an end date on the disc.

Corrections logged this week
Two, both from the same review pass. We relabelled the Title Update 1.73 cuts from Unverified to Likely and said so publicly, and we corrected the Kortz primary figure on the Returning Player guide, where it had been stated as a base rather than the boosted weekly number. Both sit on our corrections page. That is the point of the ledger: when the evidence moves, the page moves with it, in the open.
What we are watching
Three dates carry most of the open questions. August 7 brings Take-Two’s Q1 earnings call, which is also one of the two live Trailer 3 windows. The DEF 14A filing, due before September 17, is the test of whether “planned” survives as the wording on the November 19 date. And the next title update, whenever it lands, is what could move the GTA Online money claims from Likely to Confirmed or knock them down. We will log all three in Edition 3.
